Jiu-jitsu is a very practical self-defense system that emphasizes simple principles of balance, focus, and leverage to avoid or re-direct an attack. During a typical class we work on falling safely, striking, throwing, locking, and randori: unrehearsed attack-defense.
We also recognize that martial arts training is also lifeskills/business training. The daily 'attacks' which come our way from everyday living: stress, overwhelm, bullying, worry, discouragement, negative self-talk, & unhelpful mental & physical interpretations of life are very threatening to our physical and mental health, our relationships, our school success, and our businesses. These 'attacks' have reached epidemic proportions, especially bullying. Martial arts training can educate both ends of bullying: potential givers & receivers in order to re-locate and re-focus to a positive road and appropriate outcomes. Have you ever been frustrated with your levels of assertiveness, confidence, concentration, problem-solving & analytical skills, & where they may be taking you? Do you know that the posture, walk, & speech you choose affect your daily life in a positive or negative manner. Let us teach you self-defense & how to apply these principles to your whole life. Why not book your group for a 2.5 hour team-building seminar?
