>>>Please join us for our New Year open house: Kagami Biraki, on Sunday, January 29th from 2 - 4 p.m. There will be light refreshments & demonstrations in jiu-jitsu, karate, & aikido.
Jiu-jitsu is a very practical self-defense system that emphasizes simple principles of balance, focus, and leverage to avoid or re-direct an attack. During a typical class we work on falling safely, striking, throwing, locking, and randori: unrehearsed attack-defense.
We also recognize that martial arts training is also lifeskills training. The daily attacks which come our way from everyday living: stress, overwhelm, worry, discouragement, negative self-talk...are invisible, yet potentially very threatening to our physical and mental health, our relationships, and our businesses. Have you ever been frustrated with your levels of confidence, concentration, & problem-solving & where they may be not taking you?
TWO FREE CLASSES Join us for Aikido: Wednesdays 8:30-9:30 pm & Saturdays 8:30-10:00 am
Seminars: (on or off-site) 1. Awareness & non-violent self-defense: for professionals, women's/girl's groups
2. Steps of Success & Lifestyle Management
Please contact us for details. Ask for Sensei's new book: Tigers & Tornados:

'Not learning costs much more than learning' >You may join throughout the year.
The economic climate is always favourable for investing in ourselves & our children.
How would your life & career change for the better with martial arts training?: it's not just about fitness, fun, & self-defense. Private consultations are available, please contact Sensei Bob for details. He is also available for speaking engagements: his recent talk at the Whitby Chamber of Commerce on: 'Martial Arts Principles & Business' was a great success.
